About the challenge

Welcome to the Multimodal AI Hackathon 2026, organized by KamandPrompt, the Programming Club of IIT Mandi, Augli.ai, PurpleRain Tech, and LDV Labs. This nationwide hackathon invites students to work at the intersection of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and real-world problem-solving, applying these emerging technologies to domains where they can create genuine impact.

Multimodal AI systems, ones that can reason across text, images, data, and more, are increasingly capable of tackling problems that were previously out of reach for automated systems. Yet in fields like Space research, BioTech, and Education, this potential remains largely untapped. Building solutions in these domains requires not just technical skill but a genuine understanding of the problems being solved, which is exactly the gap this hackathon is designed to close.

This hackathon offers participants the opportunity to design and build solutions that could meaningfully improve how problems are approached in Space, BioTech, and Education. Whether it's a tool that accelerates research, an application that improves access to learning, or a system that solves an overlooked operational bottleneck, your work here has the potential to extend well beyond a submission page.

- Team Size: Solo/Upto 4 members (inter-college teams allowed)
